ESG report: Wynn Resorts' staff contributed over $800,000 in 2022

Wynn Resorts' new ESG report highlights continuing projects such as its growing Diversity and Inclusion programme, neighbourhood charitable endeavours and new guidelines in renewable energy.

Details regarding Wynn Resorts' launch of its first Diversity Week, which advances the company's dedication to a diverse and inclusive workforce, are included in the 2022 ESG report.

Over the course of a week in August, daily events took place across North America and highlighted the company's three diversity priority areas: workplace, marketplace and community.

The Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Recruitment Initiative, which creates partnerships with HBCUs that feature hospitality and tourism programmes,gonzos quest is still supported by the company's investments.

Additionally, employee volunteerism increased by a factor of two in 2022 compared to 2021. 

In 2022, Wynn workers across North America gave more than 28,000 hours of their time to charity, with volunteers at Encore Boston Harbour having a three-fold more effect than in the previous year.

Additionally, the year broke previous records for employee donations to the Wynn Employee Foundation. The company's biggest fundraising year was made possible by the more than 2,500 generous employee donors who contributed more than $800,000.

Further, the report included details that the Wynn Las Vegas resort was found to have used carbon-free energy for 49% of its operating hours the previous year.
